Mischief Vol 1
The Seedy Side of Speed

The new (under) world of performance car video is here, and it's going to cause plenty of mischief.

Mischief 1 welcomes you to the underbelly of the US performance car scene. Forget the sanitised show scene or the official drag meets, import tuners/video producers Teckademics take you into the part of the scene that you don't talk about in civilised society - Mischief.

Illegal street racing, breaking through police barricades, on the run from the cops, top speed runs on crowded freeways, mob violence, car trashing - both deliberate and accidental - and some fine and feisty chicks getting their tops off for 'art'.

It was an unexpected slammer of a hit in the United States, each installment of the Mischief series selling over 90,000 DVDs. Mischief 1 is now here to help corrupt the Australian car scene with its disregard for rules, conventions and common sense, with the remainder of the series to follow soon after.

Some of the highlights include:

  • Street racing in Washington, San Diego and Philadelphia
  • The 'Auto Abuse' of a Ford Explorer with 3.5 miles on the odometer
  • Busting through police lines in Philadelphia after a raid
  • Top speed runs of an Audi S4 and an R1 motorbike
  • Freeway racing Ferraris and Porsches
  • A drifting 'expression session' in the snow
  • The NOPI bikini contest

Mischief is Jackass meets The Fast and the Furious and stands up as a guided tour of the US auto underworld. It's not pretty, but it shows just how insane the performance car passion can really be sometimes.

Mischief 3000 - PAL DVD
The much-anticipated sequel to the original smash hit, Mischief 3000 delivers plenty of insanity as it takes you along for a real-life Cannonball Run.

The first thing you notice about the second instalment of Mischief is the improved production quality. Mischief 3000 has kept that honesty and realism, but now has better camera work.

The Gumball 3000 is very much a real life Cannonball Run style of event, filled with exotic machines doing insane speeds as they race from New York City to Hollywood, with entire Highway Patrol divisions from almost every state and county along the way in hot pursuit. The number of tickets issued to each competitor becomes a source of bragging rights as the fabulously rich, or anyone who can beg, borrow or steal a fabulously rich person’s supercar (a couple of Playboy Playmates for example), indulge their outlaw fantasy.

Mischief 3000 is a step up from the original in content and production, but retains its theme of doing what so many secretly wish they could - pushing modified and performance cars to the extreme and getting one over the local constabulary.

Mischief 3000 also features world class pro skateboarder Josh Kalis, Racing Playmates, DTM Australia Street racing, Drifting, Hot Import Models, US Street Racing, Crashes, Burnouts, Hot Cars, Fast Bikes and the kind of mayhem you would expect from the worlds leader in Import Street Racing movies. All this and a wicked Punk/Metal/DJ soundtrack makes Mischief a solid title.

Mischief Destroy - PAL DVD
The Teckademics team is back with another dose of Mischief. This time it’s a 7 day race from LA to Miami – and the name of the game is Destroy!

After surviving the Gumball Rally in Mischief 3000, Dustin and Dado decide to chance their hand again by participating in the Players Run, a seven day adventure from Los Angeles to Miami.

To make it even more interesting, the BMW is unregistered and Dado is unlicensed. One police stop and it's do not pass go, do not collect $200. All the while driving at over 100mp/h (160km/h) across the US freeways.

The result is Mischief Destroy - the third instalment of the Mischief series.

The Teckademics team has again changed the feel of the video with Destroy, giving it a real rock/hard house video clip edge. There's less narration, they're letting the pictures tell each 1000 word segment, all the action footage set to hard-core beats.

During the Players Run, with the police hot in pursuit the boys go to some extraordinary lengths to avoid capture and almost certain gaol. The in-car footage during these scenes captures the fear of Dustin & Dado vividly and makes for compelling viewing.

Mischief Destroy also features Jackass star Danger Ehrin, who take part in the Players Run, although he doesn't do anything too destructive - at least not to himself.

Along the way the Players entrants stop by in New Orleans for Mardi Gras to let their hair down and watch the girls get their tops off - for beads. No idea why, but that's all part of the attraction of the Mischief series.

In addition to the Players coverage, the Teckademics crew also head to Tokyo for some Japanese cruising, check out the hottest car shows like NOPI and SEMA.

There's also some skit-house action, snow drifting mayhem, street racing and the ever-popular auto abuse of import cars.

Mischief Invasion (Available for Pre-Order Late May)
MISCHIEF INVASION, the fourth chapter of the notorious Mischief series, comes at you like a Blitzkrieg. This time, the boys go off to Europe for the Cannonball Run Europe. The race was the fastest and sickest of all the runs so far. It started in the UK and went on through Spain, France, Africa and back to the UK in only 5 days. They made it back alive, but some cars were lost during the raging road war. The rally was filmed using the hi-tech Autoxcam system to better put you right in the driving seat and in the middle of the chaos and fun.

MISCHIEF INVASION also brings you street racing in Philly with pro skater Josh Kalis, Drift USA, HyperFest 2, Mega auto abuse, Jaguar demolition, PortaPotty hunting, Reckless 4, Pro skater Kerry Getz’s M3, Ultima GTR, JapVillage Supra/RX7 and more all set to the insane driving music from Herrera Productions.
